Appreciation Station: The Glass Duo Performs "Harry Potter"

The Glass Duo, a Polish glass playing music group, performs the "Harry Potter" Suite by John Williams from the Harry Potter movies.

This is fantastic!

The Glass Duo was founded by Anna and Arkadiusz Szafraniec. They are the only glass music group in Poland, one of few professional ensembles worldwide. They have brought their glass music to the stages of many renowned concert halls. By rejecting stereotypes they have enriched the music world with sounds which are subtle, sophisticated and truly unique.

I'm an American, born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I have no qualms about my support of LGBTQ rights, as well as my life as a proud member of the community.

I work in Certification and Licensing as a Proposal Writer, as well as take time to write creatively for both my own personal pieces as well as edit others. In addition, I also oversee my own company as a private consultant for Proposal Writing in various industries.

I am a huge reader, and have been since my early youth. I remember learning to read at a very young age, and having my parents fall asleep next to me after they came to read me a story before bed and I stole the book from them, wanting to read any and all stories on my own. I would even continue reading for as long as I could, even though it was way past my bedtime. My biggest influence from literature came during my coming of age and falling in love with Harry Potter when it first came out in my 11th year. I have been a huge advocate and follower of the series ever since. I connected with the character Hermione Granger on more levels than any other character I've encountered since the original books came out. In my adult years, I've come across only a few books that affected me just as much as that series, and I've set out on creating my own novels that, I hope, can capture readers the same way I've been captured by authors in my lifetime.
